In this episode of Poorboys, I’ll be showing you how to save big money by making your own Granola.
Ingredients

Instructions
- First, preheat your oven to 275 degrees F (135 C)
- Mix the oats, flax, sunflower seeds, walnuts and cinnamon in a medium mixing bowl. Once mixed, add
the honey and stir until all of the oats and nuts are thoroughly coated with the honey.
- Spread the mixture on to a cookie sheet, patting it down until it is about 3/4 of an inch thick (2 cm).
- Place the cookie sheet with the granola mixture into the oven for 30-35 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and allow 15-20 minutes for the mixture to cool.
- Break up the mixture with a spatula, add to a bowl and mix in the raisins.
- Store in an airtight container.
Feel free to omit or add any type of nuts, but try to keep the oat to nut ratio somewhat similar, or the mixture may have a tough time sticking together. Additionally, this would go great with some dried cranberries or chopped up dried apricots, but those would cost much more than raisins.
